In the latest addition to his Cliffs and Canyons series, award-winning American abstract artist Evan Stuart Marshall delivers this dramatic abstract landscape featuring a small house at the foot of high cliffs. Some of the materials used are acrylic paint, a variety of textured modeling pastes, pastels, and iridescent mica powders. Narrow ladders reach down from the top of the painting to give access to the farm below, where a horse peacefully grazes. A striking piece in vivid oranges, blues, greens, and metallic highlights, with a heavy texture achieved with collaged materials. A dynamic piece certain to add drama to any home or office.
